Sunday 6 September was a landmark day for the club. Our first venture into football and the lads got off to a 3-2 winning start, against Watford Sports. With the pool team and darts team also starting their seasons shortly, the winter months could be as busy as the summer for the club.
The next football match, also at Woodside, is on Sunday 13 September, against Woodside Wanderers, in a cup game, 10.30 start. Will they able able to play in the new home shirts, black & white stripes, having had to switch to the red strip yesterday?
